CLARITY - 11/14/2013 - Inspiration from the Source: We must always strive to see clearly. It is interesting that back in March when I first began meditating I was asked by the inner voice, "what would you like most of all?" My answer was, "to see more clearly, to heal inside, to see and accept the truth." I heard the voice say, "we can help with that." I meant to see both through my eyes (through which I have never been able to see the stars without glasses on), and into my spirit, which I feel had been closed for a very long time.

Interestingly, from March to August of this year, I suddenly began to go blind. I went to the eye doctor and was told I had a fast building cataract, the one in my left eye had gone to almost white, while the one in my right was rapidly growing. I was, basically, going blind. I approached my inner guides and asked, in my normal humorous approach to things, "hey, that questions about what do I want most, was that a trick question?" 

And I heard, "you will see more clearly than you have ever seen both externally, and inwardly - but it will take time." Being a true believer in mind over matter and that spirit can achieve anything in this physical plain - I asked, "could I heal these cataracts on my own?" and the voice said, "yes". I asked, "Well then what's up with the blindness? Do I need to have a doctor remove these cataracts." I was told, "it will go much more quickly if you do." 

Clearer spiritual sight has also come from this experience. I have realized that gifts are sometimes offered outside ourselves, and that we must remember to accept them. It is not always necessary, and in fact it's sometimes much more challenging, to try to heal everything all on our own. Sometimes we need to ask for help. I have been doing that more and more lately - and it's definitely paying off.

I have a fantastic eye doctor - one of the best in the region. And just as my inner spirit promised, within the year I am seeing more clearly. Today, that journey comes to the end - and I will see clearly out of both eyes. Of course that seeing clearly that I asked for - seeing into myself deeply - that is still in the works.
