SOURCE? -11-19-2013 - Inspiration from Source: Today I asked what the inspiration from source is and was told - it is all around you - just listen to truly hear, just look to truly see. I spend a lot of time on Facebook, and today the source reminds me that YOU are my inspiration.

This morning Linda Dieffenbach posted a quote that I think may be what I was to see and hear today - as I work on growing an elephant heart: "If we all had elephant hearts, our willingness to have grace for imperfections in others and ourselves would over-ride our need to protect. If we all had elephant hearts, we would relentlessly stand for dignity and self-respect. If we all had elephant hearts, we would know how big we really are, and bless those who are ready with great love and wisdom, while unconditionally loving everyone else all the same. If we all had elephant hearts, we would stand for nothing less than harmony and be willing to stampede when appropriate." Jennifer Hough

While Budhist Bootcamp shared: "The moment you get angry while arguing with someone, is the instant you stop striving for the truth and start trying to prove yourself superior."

Bob Murphy wrote: "Life can be the most amazing banquet. I love it, and try to squeeze its pulp- every day." He went on to comment about the bad apples with their sour juice...which got me thinking on how we can avoid the sour juice. Can we? Dunno.

What jumps out at me in all of this is "unconditionally loving". Grow an elephant heart so you can stop the anger, stop trying to be "superior" and really squeeze the pulp out of this juicy life. It doesn't mean you can't disagree with folks and of course I'm not going to be able to agree with everything everyone says - there are so many different and valid views in the world!

I think it is possible to choose to stop crying, to stop mourning and to live. We can put on our dancing shoes, dress up in our clubbing clothes and make ourselves feel wicked fine. Who cares what the kids think, right? We can sing at the top of our lungs so we don't feel like screaming, and we can love people even when they don't seem all that lovable. And that is what I would like to do today and all of next week when I am giving thanks for having you in my life.

Patti and Walter GnozaDuncan Reid and Rose Evans - let's go out dancing next week! Think we can find a place up there in the mountains?

Namaste.
