RESOLUTION 12-26-2013 - Inspiration from Source: As we move towards a new year - I am thinking of resolution. The resolve it takes to make a future happen, not the words it takes to say it, but the physical resolve it takes to succeed.
What I specifically heard was: LIVE today as if there will be no tomorrow. To some that might sound a little threatening, but to me it just sounds right. It's what I've been trying to do for almost a year now, and it's really paying off.

POWER - 12-12-2013 - Inspiration from Source -Inspiration from Source - Words are powerful - be mindful of how you use them. I say it all the time. Words are my aphrodisiac. What I don't usually talk about though - is how words are also instruments of torture. I mean really - the worst moments of my life have not been from sticks and stones - I have been bruised and used most by well sharpened mortal weapons of sound. Even worse, I have been told I did not deserve any more words - and silence is a heart blow.

DO YOU - 11-29-2013 - Inspiration from Source - Live and let Live.
I don't shop on Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Black Saturday or Black Sunday...but I don't mind if you do. I did all my shopping back in June. But wow - it sure is ugly on Facebook this week with everyone needing to be right - again. I do wonder sometimes - is anyone really right? Or is it, like I teach young actors every day, just good to strive for strong choices and adjust tactics as we learn that there are other choices available to us.

11-28-2013 - GIVING THANKS - Inspiration from Source - the day that you give thanks, and truly mean it, is the most important day of the year. How about we do it every day of the year. Today I do not celebrate that harvest meal that inspired the National holiday. Instead this day for me is the celebration of the thanks I give each day for knowing you, loving you and being so incredibly lucky to be alive. Much love out to the universe as you all gather with the people who mean the most to you - either family, or the tribes that become family. Much love!

EMBRACE CHANGE - 11-24-2013 - Inspiration from source: Embrace change.
Woke up this morning with the thought pulsing in my brain. Looked out the window to see a completely different landscape than was there yesterday - just as pretty as the one from yesterday, but completely different. Tuned into facebook and all my inspirational messages were saying the same thing. Wow. Change is making a case for itself today. And truth, my life is better since I stopped fighting change.
